Course Overview

Photography Fundamentals with Amanda is a 5-week in-person course designed to help photographers feel confident using their camera and shooting in manual mode.

While learning manual exposure is a core focus, this course goes much deeper. Students will gain a strong understanding of how their camera works, why settings matter, and how different choices affect their final images. The goal is not just to memorize settings, but to truly understand photography fundamentals so students can apply them confidently in any situation.

This course is primarily geared toward Canon and Nikon camera systems. However, photographers using other camera brands, such as Sony, are welcome and will still benefit from the concepts taught.

This class is beginner-friendly, thoughtfully structured, and information-rich, making it ideal for anyone who wants a solid foundation and a clearer understanding of their camera.
